Who is Kids Stop? My name is Sonia Obstler, and in 1997 after 25 years as a teacher for elementary and
middle school students, I decided to try my hand at something new - though no less rewarding. As a
mother, grandmother, and educator I know well, that for a child, the experiences of living and learning
are pretty much one and the same; and when these experiences are interesting, challenging and fun, a child
not only develops and excels in countless ways, but simply feels happy. I’m not sure that we could want or
ask for more for our children, and it is from this simple notion that I started Kids Stop.
Keeping this in mind, I have tried to put together a selection of educational, imaginative, and stimulating
toys, books, games, puzzles, gifts and baby items for ages birth to 12 years. Quality products that are well
conceived, safe, and fairly priced, yet never skimp on the fun factor – or the opportunity for parent and child
to learn, and grow, and laugh together. Fun is an ageless experience.
